Brave adventurer, I need your help!

My name is Pen Ty Kora. I am a healer from the city of Arantis on the continent of Allansia in Titan. Titan is a world from what you might call the fantasy realms. Elves and ogres and werewolves all exist here. They are all very real. Not unlike your world, the forces of good and evil have vied for supremacy over it. Luckily, since the Great War of the Wizards some 300 years ago, good has held the upper hand.

The war was won when the Dwarves from Fangthane and the Elves from the Forest of Night came to the aid of we humans and all stood united against Chaos in the city of Carsepolis.

Victory was ours, but not without great loss. The once great city of Carsepolis was completely destroyed and abandoned. Survivors fled to the south, towns such as Chalice and Shazaar.

However, because some old buildings remained at the mouth of the Catfish River, another settlement grew up quickly. This new settlement attracted thieves and brigands and soon a colony of evildoers was living in the ruins. Over time a city rose from these ruins. Unlike Carsepolis, the new one was not so much designed as collected; a ramshackle heap of wood and stone buildings piled high on top of one another. Great Carsepolis disappeared into history, a fearful reminder of what devastation the armies of Chaos can bring. Port Blacksand had been born.

Now, kind reader, believe me when I say that Port Blacksand is like no other city you can imagine. It is a vicious, odious hotbed of villainy, ruled over by the biggest thief of them all, Lord Azzur.

OK…so…one moment…where is that letter…ah yes…here…I received word from an old school friend of mine, the wizard Yaztromo, that Lord Azzur had discovered an artefact deep within the ruins beneath Port Blacksand.

It is a small casket known as the Trellix. It is something that helped release the Chaos Spawn from the Dead City in Khul all those years ago, something we all believed to have been destroyed during the War of the Wizards. Azzur must not be allowed to learn its secrets. For now it will be nothing more than an ancient trinket to him, but he will have his brightest conjurors working non-stop to learn its powers. And if they do, he will be unstoppable.

After receiving Yaztromo’s letter, I sent word to the wizard Arakor Nicodemus, another friend from my days in Salamonis and who now resides in that cesspool Port Blacksand. Arakor had already taken it upon himself to recover the Trellix from Lord Azzur. Unfortunately, he has had to hide the Trellix and go into hiding. Thirteen of Lord Azzur's greatest conjurors are on his trail and he cannot risk being discovered.

And this is where I need your help brave adventurer. YOU are now the only person who can save Titan.

In your world, there is a city called Sydney Town on a continent called Australia. If you know it, I need you to travel there and undertake a quest on my behalf.

This quest will be perilous; I will not lie to you. But you must understand, this is Titan’s only chance. You must find where Nicodemus has hidden the Trellix and keep it safe.

Now I may not be able to physically transport you into Port Blacksand, but I have discovered a way of ‘bleeding’ areas of Titan into your own world. This means that you can search Port Blacksand by walking the streets of Sydney Town. It is the only way I can get somebody inside its walls.

Now to the objects that will aid you in your quest.

Please find on this website three important possessions: a map of Port Blacksand, a map of Sydney Town with Port Blacksand shown ‘bleeding’ through on to it and the last letter I received from Nicodemus.

Please read Nicodemus's letter now. I hope you can make sense of it and pinpoint the whereabouts of the Trellix.

I will now set about 'bleeding' Port Blacksand into your world so that you can begin your search.

The prayers of every decent citizen of Titan are with you.

Pen Ty Kora
